I bought the Canon LP-E5 battery because I was going on an important photo trip and didn’t want any issue with quality. This battery did not fail me. In fact, it went longer than stated. I’ll stick with this battery in the future rather than use second rate batteries.

5 Stars Good battery, but you may as well get the Bag kit.
The battery itself is a commodity and runs up to $70 bucks, so you may as well get the Canon Rebel EOS (or your model) bag kit with Battery and filter. It cost at minimum $99, but the bag is waterproof and durable. I knew a secondary battery would be needed, but after checking the prices and realizing I need a bag it was a no brainer.

I bought this as a spare for my Canon Rebel XSI. I can take over 500 pictures no sweat without even considering swapping for a backup battery. Also the battery charge last for a while.

4 Stars Great Backup.
Bought this for the Flip Ultra HD as a backup in case I was out and needed extra power. The battery lasts for a little over a hour of recording. Since the Ultra HD has 2 hrs worth of memory its a good idea to have a backup battery pack. Great to get that extra recording out of the way in case you dont have axcess to a computer. Battery only charges while inside the camera and has to be hooked to the computer(unless you have a Flip AC adapter. Overall a good extra accesory to have around.

This is awesome, it has worked perfectly for me. I love not buying batteries all the time. I use my Flip camera a lot and this battery had not failed me. I would recommend to anyone.

1 Star The battery quits on you just at the wrong time
I’m a HUGE Flip video fan. I have one and use it all the time and recommend it to everyone. I have 2 but my favorite is the Flip Ultra HD. However, I’ve given up on the Flip rechargeable battery option — have had two and both are unreliable. As much as I hate to use non-rechargeable batteries, I find that unless I do, my Flip will quit on my just at the worst possible times. I carry it to capture fun moments with family and friends, and you can’t do that with a dead Flip.

This charger allows you to recharge canon battery/s without using your camcorder as the charger. Very handy, but pricey. Takes about 90 min to charge the std. BP-809 battery.

Nice, small, compact charger to keep my backup battery ready to use. LED lites show charge status and plug folds into back of charger, no wire to tangle. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent alternative than with the in-camera charging or if you have multiple batteries you can charge your extras with this one. I have a total of 3 batteries for my HF100 and this will be a godsend when traveling. Charging batteries with this unit is faster than the vidcam itself.

4 Stars much better than standard battery
This battery should have came with the Canon HG20. I can record for about 3 hours using this battery. I never ran it down so that is just going on the battery meter on the camera’s LCD for remaining battery life. It does stick out the back of the camera because it has more battery cells but it is the same color as the camera and only sticks out a few millimeters. It doesn’t get in the way so don’t worry about that if you have read that it sticks out. The battery life is great but Canon shouldn’t make you pay the exorbitant price for it to get it separately. They should either reduce the price or include it as a substitute to the standard battery which only provides about 1.5 hours of operation. Again, as with my other reviews, only 4 stars because of the price, which is very high.

I am a satisfied owner of this charger. It is simple to use, recharges my camcorder batteries in a timely fashion and best of all, it’s about the size of a small bar of soap. The power plug folds into the charger when necessary making the charger very easy to pack. It weighs practically nothing too.

5 Stars It’s a Nikon, what do you expect!
As with all Nikon products I have purchased it’s top notch quality. The price here was about $20 less than the local camera store which didn’t even have it in stock. Fast shipping and great service overall.

5 Stars Holds 95% charge for 3 months
While on location my first Nikon en-el3e battery ran out on my D-80 from using the onboard flash and overzealous shooting. Imagine my suprise when I installed the Amazon purchased backup en-el3e Nikon battery that I had charged THREE months before and it showed 95% charge! I thought I was through with using the D-80 and was going to have to use my backup Cool Pix S60! Bravo Nikon!

5 Stars Can’t go wrong with an original
Stick to the manufacture original. Ordered one as a backup battery. I swap between 2 batts during charges but I will tell you they seem to last forever. I have never needed to change a battery during a shoot when fully charged. I use a D700, no pop up flash, no VR lens and lcd viewing is average. I have shot off 500+ frames at a wedding and the battery meter only went down one notch!

5 Stars Excellent endurance for a proprietary battery
After recently purchasing a Nikon D90, I had to learn about all the features and capabilities of the camera before taking it on vacation. That meant having the camera on a lot as I went through all the menus, settings, practice shots, etc. I purchased a spare battery to take with me and only had to use the spare once during a ten day trip. These batteries last for a long time. I hope they maintain that capacity over an extended period of time and re-charging.

5 Stars The real thing
Use the real thing! Why buy an expensive, wonderful camera, and then skimp on the one thing that runs it? Use real Nikon batteries, don’t risk the camera, don’t try to save a few bucks here.
