5 Stars Freaking beautiful camera, LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
I bouht this camera to replace a lemon of a Nikon P90 that took yellowish tint pictures all the time and had no white point setting, what? NO WHITE POINT SETTING? COME ON!? WHERES THE SLR LIKE CAMERA IN THAT!

I shipped it back to amazon and they promptly refunded me, great service and I ordered this.

The image quality is superb, even if you barely have set up the camera it looks great, slightly noisy when you have 22x of zoom but I expect that from any digital camera after you hit the 18x optical and slip into digital zoom, It still looks freaking awesome.

Beautiful camera and I will be sticking to the Panasonic name for a while now, the Nikon is good in the D series but the P series is god aweful from my experience.

The battery life on this camera is awesome, just like my Nikon D40 but even boasts HD videos![...]

5 Stars Worthwhile upgrade
Upgraded from my FZ-18 because of the major improvements. HD jpeg movie is amazing with focusing while zooming and with stereo sound. Movie button on back enables fast switch from still to movie and back. 12 mp ccd gives denser colors and greater optical zoom when dropping to 3 mp. Auto focus tracking is uncanny as it tracks the locked target across the LCD/EVF. Review switch is now on the back for quick review. The old review button is replaced by a function button enabling it to be set for five possible functions. There is so much flexibility in the camera, the operating manual had to be put on a CD for PDF viewing of its 219 pages. Basic instructions come in a paper version. Fabulous camera for a little over $300. Sold my used FZ-18 for a good price.

5 Stars Love my camera
I had a Lumix DMC-FZ class camera before, so I had high expectations. They have been met. A few gripes, none serious: It took a little while to learn the new system (on-off switch is on the top of the camera now, not at the top right edge of the back — my thumb keeps reaching for it there). I missed being able to focus manually by twisting the lens, but someone who never had a film SLR won’t have that problem. I hate the tweet the camera emits when it autofocuses, but that can be turned off (sacrificing the shutter sound, too, sadly). The amber light that the camera projects when I use autofocus scares off wildlife. Hate that. The default shutter seems not quite as quick as the old camera’s.

On the good side, it takes very good pictures. It’s quite a bit lighter and smaller than my other Lumix, so it’s easier to carry. The battery lasts ages, and when it has to be topped up, I love the new battery charger. Such an intelligent design with fold-out tines in the back of the cube; no need for wires. Thank you, Panasonic, for the cable that attaches to the lens cap. Previously had to improvise my own. The camera takes good pictures without flash in less light than before. The longer lens is a joy. I like the shoot/review thumb switch instead of the old system of turning the wheel to the green arrow. I like that I can adjust the length of auto-review time. In fact, so many more of the functions can be customized that I’ve barely begun to explore their extent. I’m looking forward to experimenting.

Camera does everything they say it will do , but don,t buy it if you want a common point & shot! This camera comes with the best online manual I’ve ever seen! You need to take advantage of it to get the full range of amazing capabilities. So far very happy with results!

was torn between the canon sx20is and the panasonic fz35 i first bought the canon the picture quality wasnt as great as i thought it would be maybe because i didnt play around with the option much, but i returned it and got the fz35 which had great picture quality. highly recommend this camera. my first superzoom and im loving it.

I purchase these headphones for my Dad who is very hard of hearing, He and my mother love them, He can watch TV with the mute on and still hear great through the headphones and does not bother anyone with a loud TV set anymore.

Basically I love it! good reception and I can watch tv late at night when I get home without disturbing anyone. The one issue I have is that the controls sometimes get knocked out of kilter by the pillow. So if you are sitting up its great but if you are lying down like sick in bed you may move and then have to readjust the settings.

Worked great right out of the box. For the price I think they are great. there is a small amount of distortion and your ears will sweat with the right conditions. But battery life is long and it will go long distances away from house. I’m satisfied.

4 Stars Why bother with TV ear?
I bought this for my dad with hearing problem as TV ear. He’s been extremely happy for what it does: no more fight over volume level with mom, no more guessing on drama content and being able to enjoy music once again. Sound quality is not bad for the facts that it’s radio transmitted and the price is less than 100. Highly recommended

I’ve only had this battery for a short time, but it appears to work just as well as the OEM battery. I can’t believe how much less expensive it is than the name-brand battery, so I’m thrilled to get such a great deal!

I have had this battery about a week and used it every day. Works great and still fully charged. Pleased beyond words.

I have had nothing but problems with the Canon battery that came with my new camera. After a dozen photos it would go dead. After sitting fully charged in my camera for a week unused would be dead when I wanted to use it. I seldom used my camera because of this. Canon charges around [...]60 bucks for the same battery-just has their name on it. Can’t go wrong at this price.

Based on positive reviews here, I bought this along along with an SD1200IS. It worked one time but subsequent attempts to use it in the camera elicited “Change battery pack” message on screen. Be warned.

5 Stars Great for what it is
I was all ready to drop $500 on a video camera for the birth of our little girl. I thought I’d try this out and see what I thought. This thing is great. Go for it.

1 Star Cant use on my computer
Bought this camcorder. Looked great. Screen too small to view on so want to get onto computer. Downloaded program as directed. Could not get video from camcorder to computer screen. Can’t call for help as there are no phone numbers available. Tried the support on website. Useless. Little help[ and waited 3 days for a response. Packed up camcorder and sent it back Can’t get to view on computer. Not worth the hassel.

UltraHD has one disadvantage: It is habit forming, you find you want to video everything! Highly recommend

1 Star Important video lost when battery dies without warning
I have the lastest HD flip camcorder.

There is no battery life indicator … this is major cause of aggrevation.

The zoom is very limited, if you’re sitting in a class and trying to record a lecture you cann’t zoom out enough to cover a standard class room lecture.

For some reason the recorder stops recording after 1 hour and you have to start a new recording to use the second hour of available recording time.

The the batteries went weak and the freaken flip camcorder just lost my 55 minute video…very POed.

Also, the batter pack is just two AA Batteries taped together.

When charging the batteries I ofter get an error message saying I have an problem with the charger (it doesn’t tell you what the problem actually is though).

I had to replace the brand new battery back with charged batteries to attach my FLIP recorder to my PC.

Frustrating junk.

I should have bought a regular utlra small camacorder…they have much better features, e.g. Zoom range, batter life indicators and more store options.

When we were looking for a new camera, I asked an employee her opinion, as her father was a professional photographer. He recommended the Canon G 10. I bought the camera on Amazon. I got an excellent price an a wonderful, portable camera, We are very happy with the purchase.

5 Stars Another Canon success
I got this for U/W Photography with the Canon housing. The controls are fairly intuitive and the displays that pop up are quite readable, even under water (think stress and other issues). I have also had a Canon SX3, replaced it with and SX1 (both for above water use), and this G10 has all the same moves and positives- plus that thing about every change I make pops-up momentarily on the view screen- pretty idiot proof. For U/W, I didn’t need the pan/tilt/swivel view screen, but if I were using this above water, the G11 offers that important feature. Great machine, but again, for above water use, I liked the grip-ability of the SX1 better. Great battery life and powerful flash. I would buy it again.

5 Stars seriously like the G10
The image quality is the cake of the G10, the ease of function adjustment is the icing on the cake… Being able to shoot in a very wide range of conditions, and have the large view screen preview what you’re getting is a serious advance from my previous point and shoot. The well calibrated white balance settings are a particular favorite, followed closely by exposure compensation dial and the panoramic stitch, neutral density (mechanical!) filter, folder functions… but none of this would matter if the image quality wasn’t so sweet.

5 Stars Canon G10 – Good product
I have it for a few months. My previous one was the G3 and I also have a EOS.

The G10 is great for a camera in its level. It gives you full control when you want it or full automation.

Size is small compared to performance. I was hesitating between this and the thin Sony cameras since I wanted a small camera that is easy to carry when I don’t want to carry a big SLR. Eventually I decided to go for this and I’m happy I did. I even took it instead of an SLR for a 3 week vacation I was on just now and pictures are good.

It does take a bit of time between one picture to the other but this is the price of using this type of camera and not SLR.

Battery life is really great. I kind of forget I need to charge it once in a while.

I recommend this product.

In short camera is excellent quality and very precise imaging, but it is difficult to get used to the camera to the presence of many features as possible to get used to it over time

* The screen is very sensitive and prone to scratches, so be sure to put the camera in a bag.
