Canon NB 4L Battery Pack for the SD400 SD630 SD600 SD750 SD1000 and TX1 Digital Cameras

The NB-4L is a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack for Canon PowerShot models SD200 and SD300. It’s made to withstand approximately 300 recharges. When shooting with the LCD monitor off, you can expect approximately 400 images when fully charged, or 140 images when shooting with the LCD monitor on under normal environmental and shooting conditions. Similarly, the battery offers about 180 minutes of image playback time.

5 Stars The quality is very good
I ordered this battery since my old one starts having problem after 5+ years use. I was worried about the quality. But it turned out the quality is good. The delivery time is quick as well. So far I am very satisfied.

5 Stars BEWARE OF NON-GENUINE CANON NB-4L!!!
Don’t try to save $$ by buying off-brand replacement batts for the Canon Elph & Powershot series. You’ll live to regret it. Nor will you have to live a long time. One or two photo sessions will have you regretting your purchase. The companies who make and market the replacement batteries intentionally mislead potential purchasers into believing their products meet the recharge standards of original Canon batteries. THEY DO NOT. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! The price differential is sucker bait. Caveat emptor.

5 Stars Satisfied customer
The battery arrived quickly and worked as promised. I would order from this seller agaian.

5 Stars Works As Advertised
Manufacturers battery works as it should. Got here on time and in good condition. Charged up quickly and maintained the charge during a long hiking trip.

5 Stars Great battery.
Great battery. My first pair worked very well for about 4 years – before recharged life deminished enough to be replaced.

5 Stars Don’t buy the knock off!
It’s worth the money to buy the Canon brand. These batteries are great and last forever even with flash!

5 Stars Great
Shipped on time however USPS dragged their feet with it. Received 2 days later than expected.

Works fine. Charges fine.

5 Stars CANON BATTERY
WORKS GREAT,HOLDS A CHARGE WELL AND 1/2 THE PRICE OF BEST BUY.FOR THE EXACT SAME BATTERY. RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

5 Stars Do not buy cheep one~!!

Do not look for cheaper one.

OEM battery works much better and life is more than 3 times longer.

If you take photos in winter, you will regret your choice of cheap brand.

I have bad experience with cheap one. Always Buy OEM battery.

5 Stars Must have with the battery grip!
Bought this because i bought the battery grip for my 40d and it requires 2 batteries to run isntead of one, but then it doubles the shooting time, hell, i can say it triples or quadruples it, haha.

Pricey, but worth every penny.

5 Stars This thing is awesome…
I read all the reviews of this camera here on Amazon, as well as seeking out photography websites looking for recommendations for the best small point and shoot camera. Despite a few bad reviews here, everything else I saw was pretty positive, so I decided to go for it. I am SOOOOO glad I did.

From the moment it came out of the box, it was love at first site.

The display is large and clear and crisp.

The photos is takes are wonderful. I have seen low reviews talking about “noise” and “blurriness” and the only thing I can guess is that these people never took 5 minutes to figure out how to USE the camera. Set to the indoor setting, pictures taken inside are clear, crisp and brilliant. No noise. If you use the Kids&Pets mode, motion shots are almost always perfect and without blurriness. If you try and take every picture on “Auto” you are going to get a mixed bag of shots on ANY camera, that is why the camera comes with different settings.

I’ve also seen complaints about where the flash is and how hard the camera is to hold. It is true that when turning the camera on, the flash has bumped my finger a few times. But this is hardly a deal breaker. So it bumps you – it isn’t as though it is causing injury to the camera or to you, for goodness sake!!!! So it bumps you and you move your finger – big deal! I cannot fathom why anyone would care about this. As far as being hard to hold, maybe if you had the hands of a 7 ft NBA player or a 350lb lineman, it might be a bit small in your hands and hard to handle – but so would ANY small camera. But both my husband and myself have had no issues holding on to it. If you are worried for some reason, that is what the camera strap is there for. Personally, I love the fact that it EASILY slips into a pocket so I don’t walk around looking like a tourist, or have my hands full of camera while I want to be site-seeing.

The function section of this camera (SCN) is SUPER fun. You can take pictures where you turn everything in the photo black & white except selected color(s). This yields some AWESOME artsy shots with no effort (seriously, take pictures in candlight, where the color of the candle light is the only color – AMAZING!!!!). You can also swap colors to take wacky, fun photos. People will think you are a photography genius, and all you did was point and click. There is also a straight B&W mode, and sepia mode, like most cameras.

All in all, I CANNOT imagine having chosen any other camera.

1 Star Flawed camera.
Had the camera for about six months now. Very happy at this point that I bought an extended warranty.

Anyway, I’m not sure if its a problem with just my camera, but from day one I have had problems with the camera not focusing correctly. If anything is in motion at all the picture is blurry. Even staged portraits often come out blurry. I love the zoom ability of the camera, but couple it with the focus problems and it is darn near useless. When the pictures do come out, they come out very nice, but this camera does have problems with low light situations. Additionally, the battery life sucks. I shot around 100-120 pictures in around 1.5 hours and had to change the battery… sounds like a lot of pictures, but really its isn’t when half of them are out of focus.

Last weekend, the camera started having other problems. You look at the display on the back and the image on it shifts left and then right over and over again. I mean big jumps that could take half your subject out of the frame. Put an ear to the camera body/lens and you can hear it constantly adjusting when it is doing this. So, returning this piece-o-junk today… not going to get another one if I can help it.

4 Stars Canon SX200 IS
I have only had the camera for a few weeks and haven’t had much time to play around with it, but it’s quite simple to just pick up and start taking pictures. So far I have been very impressed with both the still picture and video options.

The one drawback that I have noticed is that when I am taking pictures, if I am holding the camera with one hand instead of both hands, I frequently hit the “play” button which displays the pictures already taken. There have been many times when I am about to take a great photo of our kids and then it switches to the play setting and I lose the opportunity to take it. The button is just in a bad place on the camera. That is the only drawback I have found so far. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the camera.

4 Stars Very Nice Camera
This is my 2nd Canon Digital Camera. Overall, i am very satisfied with this product. The pictures taken in sunny, outdoor settings are stunning.

720P HD videos shooting is easy and quaility is very good. Camera Software user interface is very intuitive, and has some advanced editing features as well.

Here is some short-comings I’ve noticed:.

(1) if you takes a lot of pictures with kids playing sports where your subject is in motion, this camera is not a good fit. The continuous-shooting mode is slow. (~1 shot/second range)

in addition, the LCD “blanks” out for a 1+ seconds after each shot so you have a hard time following your subject while in continuous-shooting mode. The “Servo AF” mode tends to over-compesate so i general turned that off.

(2) If you would like to take picutres using the camera’s 12X optical zoom, pls make sure you use a tripod since very small hand motion at that range can make the shot producing a lot of noise (”foggy” pictures).

(3) The “Auto” mode in indoor setting doesn’t always detect the current light condition. It’s best to put the camera in “Program”(P) mode and manually select light condition and sensitivity.

In general, this camera does not take good pictures in low-light conditions without the flash.

1 Star A shame
I don’t really like this product!

I find that is not comfortable the pop up flash.

The lens retraction is really TOO slow the same as the shooter (easy to lost THE moments).

The auto setting MANY times fails (really bad), you can’t trust on it to take a good picture… Is better to use manual settings.

The light capture is deficient the most of the times (it’s a shame, maybe the worst).

It was a big deception for me.

3 Stars Sometimes it is very helpful but sometimes not
We have been using it in California and often find it most helpful. On the other hand, it often becomes inert and in the middle of a trip cannot provide further instructions. After unplugging the unit, it comes back to life. Also it led us to a road that was marked “EMERGENCY VEHICLES ONLY; Do not enter.” That is not helpful. We needed to backtrack several miles and could not use the 255W for many miles after that. It was determined to have us make a U turn to take the road that was not meant for private cars.

4 Stars very good GPS for the price
Bought this Garmin GPS just before a 4000 mile trip around the west from Chicago. Super easy to use. Didn’t even have time to really read up on the gadget so there may be features I don’t know about, but just have to link it up to the satellites and off you go. Many places in Northern Montana and especially Utah lost contact with satellite info. In Utah it was basically useless whether in the country or in Salt Lake. One thing that would be useful is putting a mute button on the screen available at all times. If you want to make it mute you have to go through the menu etc. Often when I’d get a phone call or was talking to someone, it would have been nice to just have the ability to quickly make the voice directions mute.

5 Stars couldnt be more satisfied
Arrived earlier than expected. Performance exceeds expectations. Good support from garmin. Sorry I waited so long to get a GPS. Takes a weight off your shoulders when driving. Easy to learn. Exceptional turn by turn navigation.Highly recommended by this old timer..

5 Stars Needed Garmin 255W Bigger Screen
I have had this Garmin 255W since March 2009 and like it very much and just as much as my first GPS unit a Garmin C340. My eye sight had changed quite a bit over the pass two years so went with the 255W wider screen from my first unit. I have no real negative complaints and all the positive things about the 255W have all ready been said so no need to repeat them. The Garmin people were very helpfull with just curiousity type questions answered over the internet and with in three days also.

5 Stars OMG! I can’t believe I’ve put up with paper maps so long! This thing is AMAZING – even in rural settings!!
We can’t belive how wonderful Maggie is for any place you’re not familiar with (named her Maggie – after all if you’re going to listen to her “tell you where to go”, may as well call her something huh!?). We had to take a 14 hour trip and really dislike going interstate all the way, boring! So our first use of Maggie was this trip and the fun we had playing with all the features like finding hotels and restaurants, places of interest, and even a “where am I” feature that gives amazing details that are so useful (even the altitude which is of interest here in the high altitude Rocky Mountains). Fun and fabulous “toy” that serves up so many functions that you never knew you needed, but will LOVE having! You cannot go wrong with this product – I’ll NEVER be lost again!

5 Stars Great camera. Better than the tough-6000
Great camera. I use it in my watersports business and I destroyed the Tough- 6000 in 3 weeks. This one is tougher and has lasted the whole summer.

5 Stars Great camera for active lives!
I bought this for my husbands birthday & anniversary gift, we got it 2 days before leaving for Mexico, we had no problems figuring out how to use the camera, we took it on all our vacation excursions, it was perfect for an active vacation! We took underwater photos, photos in the rain & on the windy beach. The picture quality is great. My daughter has had the model under this one for a couple of years and still loves it, for us it’s worth a little extra money to have peace of mind while traveling that if we drop it or get caught in the rain we don’t have to worry about a broken device! And we love the option of using the camera underwater, we took pics in a underwater caves!

5 Stars Picture perfect!
Excellent product. Everything I thought it would be. Great value for the money. Quick and courteous service.

4 Stars Olympus Stylus 8000
Noticed a few very small drops in the charging well, wiped out easily with a kleenex. Followed product insert and rinsed well between used. Camera performed very well. However, notice some pictures in the water looked like had “rain spots” on them, maybe bubbles on the lens? It wasn’t on all pictures. Still playing with the settings, trying to optimize pictures. For 12 MP, could be clearer in the water and out of the water. At this point, I certainly would buy the camera again. I highly recommend buying the floating strap.

4 Stars Tough 8000
Bought the camera for a trip to Mexico in Nov. So far good camera with the tests have put it thru, including water test and college football game. Good pics. Found at a good price. I like the extra settings for snow, water, night; a lot of features in a little camera. Will really give it a workout in Nov. when in Mexico; planning on snuba diving, deep sea fishing, Chichen Itza, and snorkeling. I also liked that it came with a microSD Olympus adapter, good call Olympus.
