5 Stars LoveIt!
I received my first Canon PowerShot Elph from my brother over 4 years ago. So this was an upgrade for me. I loved my first one and I love this one.My mother has one, too, and she is very pleased with hers as well. I am still getting a feel for my new one, but I am very happy with it! The orange color is awesome! And the fact that you can recharge the battery appeals to my “green” side!
5 Stars Fantastic little camera!
This is a great little camera! You certainly can’t beat the quality for the price. I highly recommend this.
5 Stars Excellent for video and pictures, especially underwater!
We live in Guam, where the picture taking possibilities are endless. This little camera takes really great pictures both above water and underwater; we bought the underwater casing and my husband uses it while scuba diving, it takes beautiful underwater pictures and video. The lag time can get a little annoying if the picture preview is on; but that’s just basic digital camera issues. We’ve used this camera for video on several occasions and you wouldn’t be able to tell it was taken with a hand held camera instead of a video camera. When the camera arrived I was a little worried that the orange color would be more pastel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the bright orange color since orange is one of my favorite colors.
I used to be a strictly Nikon person, and I owned the Nikon CoolPix, but it was stolen a while back. We replaced it with this Cannon and it’s made us open our eyes to another brand. We still love Nikon, but Cannon has definitely reserved a spot on our list of favorites. My only complaint between the two is that the Cannon is a little bit thicker than the Nikon and doesn’t fit into my pocket as easily. But it’s still a great little camera to throw into my purse and take everywhere.
5 Stars Great Point & Shoot Camera
I bought this digital camera after my Canon SD750 broke, and so far it’s been great. Takes great quality pics and it’s very portable. I’m not one of those savvy camera guys where I know a lot about the different options a camera can do. I’m more of a “if it takes good pictures, then I’m sold” type of camera guy and this is a great camera if you’re looking for something you can take anywhere and have a great quality picture. I’ve heard complaints about the navigation buttons on the back, and although it was not as easy to use (as far as the buttons are concerened) as my old SD750, I didn’t find it to be to problematic or annoying. The only thing that could make this camera better is if they removed the optic viewer. It would have given more room for a bigger LCD screen. But that’s just my preference, some people prefer having the optic viewer. So in conclusion, great camera, great price. 100% recommend it to those looking for something simple that’ll do the everyday job of taking nice clean pictures.

5 Stars Superb to use with Skype
I am very happy with this webcam. Superb image quality for overseas Skype conversations.
Only negative feedback I can give is the fact that if you use the long neck extension, you can not touch the webcam during operation as it is not very snug and looses image.
4 Stars Amazing product. Very good quality…. I have no problems.
I bought it because my old webcam was really bad.
And I am really surprised how good the webcams already are.
The picture quality is really good and the Sound quality is amazing. I can speak without headset and everybody can here me without hearing themselves.
One not so good aspect is: The Microphone of the Webcam is a little bit to good. So when it stands directly in front of the Laptop (I don’t have a computer) then my partner can just hear all the voices of my laptop but not me.
So I had to put the webcam around 2 feets away from my laptop and now it’s perfect.
4 Stars Just adding another recommendation
All that can be said has been said. I’m just confirming that this is indeed a great webcam. I’ve bought a second one also. When I compare this to the chats we have with my family that has the web cams mounted in their laptop screens, I can see how much more advantageous it is to have a positionable webcam that one can place some distance away from the laptop and then swivel/zoom to get just the desired part of the couch in the picture. No more awkward crowding or positioning of the laptop.
5 Stars Very Good
This product by far is my favorite and most expensive item I have purchased from Amazon. The reason why I rated the Logitech Orbit cam so high is because of its quality. The money spent is worth every penny. Video quality, ease of installation, and features. I will take very good care of this for as long as I can.
3 Stars Nice, But Not The Best
I had a feeling I would not be totally enthralled with this webcam and I was right. Maybe in this price range its the best but something tells me there are better options out there maybe for a little bit more or maybe for less from a no name brand. I’ve gone through half a dozen webcams now and use them every day to communicate with my family since I work away from home for extended periods. Most have been low cost options wiuth the exception of the 80 dollar logitech sold here on Amazon (I believe its called the AF model). The picture clarity is definitely better here among the others when you are looking through its OWN software. Major disappointment when its working through Yahoo and less picture quality when working through Skype, so it does not warrant a 5 star review just on that alone. It also does not have a wireless remote so its a pain in the butt to zoom and position the camera. The face tracking is useless as I don’t sit directly in front of the monitor and it doesn’t work while I type 2 feet away. For that feature I could have really used a zoom remote instead. The stand arrangement is also awkward and not good for laptop users who would use this away from a stationary desk ( I am at a desk but my family is not). There must be something better then this webcam for its price range, but I’ll be generous and give it 3 stars. If I dont get my rebate I’ll make sure to give it less then 3 for overall experience with this product. But so far 3 stars.
